Walked out without my order, here's why. Went in today 10/20/17 about 2:10 and ordered. The young lady was super nice. She then proceeded to run around doing all kinds of other things? I'm guessing she had other tasks that had to get finished? There was one customer ahead of me and she looked very unhappy, and I was about to soon find out why. As the girl disappeared into the back of the kitchen, I decided that the $9 had been wasted when at 2:38 I still hadn't received my food, to go?!?!?!
Excellent food! Their potatoes and paninis are delicious! All of their food is fresh, made to order. The owner is very sweet and kind. If you are visiting Dahlonega, make sure to stop here for lunch or dinner.
The owner was extremely sweet and helped us to find vegan options. She informed us that the potato bar, which we haven't tried yet, offers dairy-free butter and other vegan toppings including vegan bacon bits. Definitely will go back to try that before our vacation is over. They also offer 2 vegan sorbets (orange and watermelon) and many vegan smoothie combos with your choice of either almond or coconut milk. My husband and I really enjoyed our visit here!
This is no joke my favorite place in town. I moved here about 6 months ago and this was one of the first restaurants I went to. I've been almost everywhere in town now and still come back here time and time again. The owner April is so kind, she is so nice to talk to. I always feel so welcomed and invited when at spoon shine. Her smoothies are so delicious, my favorite thing is the baked potato bar. It's soooo yummy ! And all the toppings you want for just $5! My whole family eats here, they love the sandwiches and salads. We've never tried something we didn't like. It will always be one of my favorite places to stop at for lunch thank you April !!
I absolutely love this place! It first intrigued me when I noticed in attractive font that they have a baked potato bar inside. I have never seen a concept like this, and I love potatoes. It was tasty. It was like Subway, where you pick your toppings. They have frozen yogurt and smoothies in there as well. They have the complete menu right outside the door on a huge, life-size poster with the prices. I like this concept also. They always have the same lady in there who is extremely nice. They give discounts to UNG students as well. I have come here multiple times and will come back!
