No problems to report at this Holiday Inn. Staff was friendly & attentive. Room was clean & serviceable. Love the location being right down the street from the town square.
The manager, Diane, was so helpful this past September when we used the Holiday Inn for accommodations for our wedding guests. In the months leading up to the wedding weekend, Diane was helpful and assuring that the rooms would be available and could accommodate our guests. I was a nervous Mother--of-the-Bride and Diane was calm and supportive throughout. The guests enjoyed their stay at the Holiday Inn and had a positive experience.
We had a room with a king size bed at the end of the hall. The room was very spacious with a sofa, chair and ottoman and the usual desk and chair. It had a Keurig and coffee. The bed was very comfortable with nice pillows. The breakfast was also very good. I would highly recommend the hotel. I only had contact with the person behind the check in desk and she was extremely friendly and helpful.
Holiday Inn Express Dahlonega is located very close to the Days Inn. Upon first glance, it us clearly the superior location. The Days Inn appeared dingy with rust near the pool. The Holiday Inn looked warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were cleaned nicely and ready for guests. The provided toiletries were nice quality and smelled really nice. An overall great experience! And don't be fooled, the Days Inn doesn't have a leg up with its pool out front. The Holiday Inn has one around back which gives privacy and it was much cleaner.
Nice service, they acomodated us with no hassle, bedroom was clean and it was a comfortable night sleeping in a really nice bed. Pillows were labeled for softness so if you prefer soft or firm pillows you have options. At the morning there is a nice continental breakfast buffet which is great for when you have to keep driving the rest of the day.
