So I filled out what I believe was 8 or 9 pages of a health questionnaire thinking, all I want is my foot fixed. So during the initial visit, we went over everything that has ever been wrong with me. That was sort of a surprise, but she was more interested in treating the whole person rather than a specific area. One thing that piqued her interest was my previous use of statins to treat high cholesterol. She asked if I would be willing to try an alternative and since I had muscle pain from Statins, I was all ears. She prescribed something that honestly, I was skeptical of but what the heck, I'll try it. We had a baseline of my cholesterol because I had just been checked by my physician a week before. Well I got on board with her treatment and the next time, about six months later, my CBC analysis revealed my cholesterol had never been better. Now, let me add this. Because I had stopped taking the statins a year before my cholesterol had skyrocketed. The treatment with Pamela put my numbers right on target of absolutely normal. I had also lost about 15 pounds through her diet counseling that absolutely helped my numbers.
For almost two years, I had Plantar Fascitis that was a constant source of pain. Every step was like stepping on a nail. I went to my primary care physician, to a podiatrist and a physical therapist and had absolutely no improvement even having a shot of cortisone (Now that HURTS). So after many months of this pain, I asked my Dr what he thought of Acupuncture and his answer sort of surprised me. He said it absolutely works but he had no idea who to send me to. I was limping around one day and a friend of mine asked me what was wrong and I told her. She told me to call Pamela Bellamy. I did a little research and called for an appointment.
After all this lengthy review, I can say with only a monthly maintenance visit my foot pain is almost nonexistent. I don't think you will ever find a more caring person to ally with for your health.
