I got a great hair cut from Anna Claire that was exactly what I wanted. I asked for a gentleman's cut and she knew exactly what I wanted. Jolie is really nice inside and homey. And yes, they do cut guy's hair! ;-)
Nicole is an amazing human being. She was so organized, genuine, and gracious. She kept me feeling excited and relieved for the big day and kept in contact with me the whole time. As a gift I had my girls do a mani/pedi day with me and Nicole did my toes and nails herself, which turned out fantastic. She was also very kind, hospitable, and I felt like she really went out of her way to make sure that everyone felt special and that I stayed excited and happy! She even went out and got umbrellas for us and a shiny barrette for my mom without us asking. Amazing, amazing, amazing.
Great staff who are professional! This is a great place for couples to get pampered, wedding parties, girls day out, or a place to escape. They offer all hair and nail treatments (except perms - Ew!), waxing, massage, and they even have a nurse on staff that does skin treatments! If you're visiting Dahlonega, Jolie is a must!
I loved my bridal hair and makeup sooooooo much. I never wanted to take it down. My bridesmaids and both mothers looked really amazing too. They are really talented and nice people.
I would not have looked beautiful on my wedding day (Dec 17, 2016) had it not been for Jolie Day Spa. A special shoutout to Nicole, the owner, and Jessica, my day-of (and trial) makeup and hair artist is very much necessary. My hair was absolutely gorgeous (Elsa-like) and the makeup was perfect for me because I don't ever wear it. Not only was the hair and make up for me great, my bridesmaids, flower girls, and my mom and mother in law looked absolutely stunning. The day of was super special because the spa worked only with the bridal party and catered an amazing breakfast which was too relish not to eat even though I was nervous for the ceremony! Jessica did a great job keeping me calm.
Scheduled an appointment a week in advance with a female massage therapist. I got there on time and was told I had a male massage therapist to perform the massage. I have been going to Jolie Day Spa since 2013. Claire (former massage therapist) was such a warm and loving person and Heather was so genuine (I don't know if she's still there?). Where did they go? I gave this review 2 stars because I do believe Jolie Day Spa is a fantastic business, however I will not be going back. The atmosphere feels stiff and I felt like nothing was resolved or that my time mattered. The woman I spoke to at the counter I believe was the owner. She did try to resolve the issue, but it was impossible to reschedule. I ended up walking out feeling frustrated and my entire day wasted (since I scheduled my day around this event). The last time I had a Friday off was New Year's. I'm sure the massage therapists are wonderful, but the receptionist staff need to get their stuff together. Thankfully I was able to schedule an appointment somewhere else. Hopefully they can fill the standards I believed were once at Jolie Day Spa.
